We Continue to Grow

What a guy and what a player! We knew Adam Brown was carrying a shoulder injury and had been for some time. Browny correctly got himself booked in for a much needed operation. He couldn’t carry on much longer.

He was a huge miss. For a prop he’s athletic, he carries and he can pass… something different.

We caught up Browny to see how he’s getting on…

It’s been a little while since we have seen you out on the paddock?

14th of October Hull away to be precise not that I remember much of that day few questionable challenges lead to an early nap

We know you had shoulder surgery for an ongoing niggle. How did that go?

Operation went well surgeons and physios all happy with the work they’ve done so no complaints about that

How has rehab gone?

Slow start but managed to get back to a full range of movement for the first time in over a year and relatively pain free after 6 weeks definitely feeling stronger

You have been working a lot with Scott. Has he helped you in your recovery?

Scott has been a life saver made sure I had full range of movement and sorted a lot of underlying issues before absolutely beasting me in the gym, not only has he helped get my shoulder back into full swing he helped me get over the doubt of how far I could push my self day to day aswell as in the gym

We seen a little glimpse of you back playing at Rugby Fest 7s. How was it to be back playing?

Yeah let’s not judge me on that performance I’m a prop and was very intoxicated, I never thought I’d say it but I really enjoyed 7’s more so being back out there with the lads having a laugh and seeing how good my surgeon was by putting my shoulder to the test finally

It must of been frustrating being on the touchline?

It certainly was a struggle especially towards the back end of the season but all that was quickly forgotten about after we secured our safety. Credit to the boys for giving us all another opportunity to have a crack in the big leagues

Goals for the upcoming season?

Get as much game time and experience as possible being a relatively young prop in a very competitive league there’s always an opportunity to learn and most importantly prove to not only the rest of the teams but to the everyone in and around the club we deserve to be in this league

Good luck Browny. We can’t wait to see you back out there!
