This Sunday at 12:30pm, Our very own U16 Warriors have their last game as a single team before they move and join with our Colts section.

Over the years this team have been through some very tough times with low numbers and a lot of the time borrowing players and sustaining defeats.

In the season prior to the dreaded Covid, the team merged with a Hartlepool Rugby Club.
This gave increased numbers not just in games but also at training which, under an excellent coaching team, brought the boys on no end and enabled them to field a stronger team and showcase their ability on the pitch. It has been a great success story one that has been published in National Rugby Publications.

Coming back from Covid, while other teams have struggled, the Warriors have actually increased in numbers and over the last month they have played some excellent rugby and worked hard as a team to overcome strong opposition.

This weekend however, is likely to be their toughest test as they play host to a very strong Darlington team.

This is where you come in!!! We need your support. We need a big boost for the players and coaches to send them into Senior Rugby with a win under their belts.

I know that the boys would really appreciate any support, so please come along and cheer them on. They kick off at 12:30 and the bar will be open for what’s looking to be a cracking Bank Holiday Sunday.
