Well the last game of the season is upon us.
Our last game vs Rossendale saw us cement 4th place in the league. Given where the season has taken us, it is a pretty impressive finish.
We end the season with a trip to Wirral.... it will also be the last time we will play Wirral, possibly for some time due to forthcoming league restructure. An end of an era.
Billingham and Wirral have had some cracking games over the years and im sure Saturday will be no exception!
Also travelling to Wirral are our u11s who are touring and will be playing in a curtain raiser before then being guard of honour. For those who will be travelling, I am sure you will recognise them... they will be in some sort of fancy dress!!
Wirral will be looking to end the season on a high having recently suffered recent consecutive defeats, however the opposition were PGH, Otley and Macclesfield... Wirral have named their squad early and have been able to draw on availability from injuries and show a squad capable of an upset.
Billingham as mentioned sit in 4th... nothing to play for in league standings however they will be looking to play some exciting rugby.
Earlier in the season Billingham came were home victors, coming out on top 29-0.
Billingham will want to end the season on a high before the finalised restructure is provided to the clubs.
A little bit of a unknown future...
Peter Evans if selected will mark his 300th 1st XV appearance for the green and whites. A huge talent that could have easily went on to a higher level. Thankfully, he chose to stay with his home club with his brothers, his family and his friends. Its been a careers of some lows but lots of highs! There is still games in the old mans legs....
Updates will be provided on our social media channels
