The last home game of the season.
Having got back to winning ways against Kirkby Lonsdale last week, in what was a comprehensive performance by Billingham, it gave the Billingham lads a much needed boost.
The second half of the season has been tough. Injuries a big contributing factor for selection, however, this has given opportunities to others to create their own legacy.
DoR Peter Evans has already mentioned about how selection will be changing for the remaining games. There will be changes.
This weeks opposition are Rossendale. A team we have got to know very well over the years. Reviewing the league it is clear that Rossendale have had a mixed season. Upon reading their website and speaking to their supporters when Billingham travelled to Lancashire, they have had their own troubles. Players leaving in Covid, injuries etc... have all come at a cost.
Despite this Rossendale still sit in 8th place registering 11 wins. They are another big and physical side that like to take it to teams and Billingham will be no exception.
The last game we played Rossendale at home they ruined our winning home form and quite comfortably! They are not a side to be underestimated....
Billingham as mentioned will be buoyed by their victory last week and the return of influential play maker Peter Evans. Alot of players put their hand up last week and selection will be a very tough ask.... With this in mind the Lions have a tough home game against Alnwick whilst 3TM travel to Tynedale in their own final.
We are calling for your support. We want you to be the extra voice. After all its the last home game of the season!
